This workshop is all about enjoying mistakes, letting your hair down, and removing the pressure to get everything perfect. I'll show you how to do things correctly, and then we'll decide which "mistakes" we want to make. Is it really a mistake if it's planned and intentional?

We'll also incorporate chance to create those mistakes and repeat some of them to show how difficult it is to replicate the exact same error, giving each one a unique, magical quality.

The rules and numbers in analogue photography can be quite complicated, but when we remove the pressure and play with the possibilities, the entire process becomes much clearer. We always learn and grow from our mistakes. Chance adds an element of fun to this play, and repetition solidifies our understanding.

In this workshop, the goal is to intentionally ruin the film we’re going to process. We’ll experiment by bending the rules and pushing the limits of the processes to see what changes we can achieve. Let’s remove the pressure of perfection and consistency, and enjoy the freedom of getting things wrong for once, just like children at play.

It's a full-day workshop dedicated entirely to you. We start with a coffee or tea to understand your relationship with photography and tailor the workshop to your needs, which might include overcoming any camera insecurities, choosing the right film for different moments, and learning more about the analogue world.

The workshop covers some basic yet essential topics:

Image MAKING with a Manual Analogue Camera: Apertures, shutter speeds, ISO, and other details.

Film Developing/processing: Developers, types of film, and creative decisions.

Printing Your Images the Way You Want: It's crucial to know a bit of technique to achieve the desired results.

And lastly, we'll enjoy some music to relax under the red light. Throughout the day, there will be small breaks so we can fully enjoy the experience!

Everything you need is included; just bring a roll of undeveloped 35mm or 120 black and white film that you've exposed (shot) before.

Join us for a fundamental workshop focusing on developing black and white film. Don't forget to bring along ONE ROLL OF FILM—it's essential!

This workshop marks your first step towards mastering black and white photography and embarking on your analog photography adventure!

Enjoy two hours of straightforward and engaging instruction!

In this process, you'll need a mix of dilution, precise timing, careful agitation, temperature control, and most importantly, your passion.

Choose your time and date

This session runs for 3.5 hours. Bring along a roll of 35mm or 120 black and white film you've already shot and processed.

We'll guide you through creating a contact sheet, which you'll use to pick out negatives for printing at home. Plus, you'll learn techniques like dodging and burning and accurate multicontrast printing. While paper and chemicals are provided, please remember to bring your negatives.

Later in the day , we're hosting our hand printing workshop where you'll have the opportunity to dive into the art of Black and White printing.

Whether you bring your own negatives or use our provided selection, get ready for an engaging three and a half hours of hands-on learning.

Throughout the workshop, we'll explore different enlargers and formats, allowing you to refine your technique while having fun experimenting. From creating Contact Sheets to crafting Prints and exploring Extra Magic Techniques, there's plenty to discover.

Liquid Emulsion Workshop: Delve into the fascinating world of liquid emulsion in this 4-hour introductory session. We'll start with a bit of theory to grasp the fundamentals, then dive straight into hands-on practice.
