Lakeside Darkroom (LKSD) is a Community Interest Company (CIC) with a feminist ethos. Established in August 2022, the primary focus of LKSD is to provide a safe, comfortable and empowering learning environment for practitioners of all levels. Our ethos revolves around collaboration, experimentation and making mistakes as essential learning opportunities.

Our goal is to foster a space for connection and comfort among practitioners of all genders, enabling everyone to fully participate in group or individual activities. As a feminist establishment we promote openness, inclusivity, love, collaboration, intergenerational dialogue and stand against racism, machoism, colonialism and discrimination of any form.
